Ari Golub
Director of Day Camps

Ari has more than 13 years of professional experience managing children’s programs and services at Jewish Community Centers around the country. Ari is a graduate of Southern Connecticut State University with a B.S. in Elementary Education and Communications.

He was chosen to serve as a Fellow for the prestigious Jewish Experiential Leadership Institute. As an educator, mentor and leader in the Jewish community, Ari is constantly seeking creative ways to foster a dynamic learning and social environment and to promote high quality programming for children of all ages. He believes the social, recreational and educational experiences children receive in JCC settings are invaluable.

Hayley Ryshen
Assistant Director of Children & Day Camping

Hayley oversees Kids' Club Afterschool Care, enrichment programs and vacation camps. She has a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University and a master’s degree in school counseling from John Carroll University. She was recently chosen for the prestigious and competitive Merrin Teen Professional Fellows Program.

Hayley has worked at the Mandel JCC since 2007. She is passionate about working with and bringing out the best in children and is looking forward to leading another amazing summer at The J!

Sheri Gross
Director of Playmakers Performing Arts Camp

This is Sheri’s 18th season as the director of the Performing Arts Camp.

“Every year I am amazed at the magic that the campers and counselors create on stage and off! I can think of nothing better than to spend the summer surrounded by singing, laughter, smiles and friendship. That is EVERY summer at Playmakers.”

Ariella Kossin
Assistant Director of Playmakers Performing Arts Camp

Ariella Kossin, who is a junior at Stern College majoring in Sociology and Education, is so excited to be coming back as the assistant director for the third year in a row.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled to be coming back for another incredible summer. There is no place I’d rather spend my time than at Performing Arts Camp! It's been my home for the past 13 years and I couldn’t imagine myself anywhere else!”

Lynne Berliner
Director of Playland Preschool Camp

Lynne has been Playland’s co-director for 11 years and has been a preschool teacher at the Mandel JCC for 17 years. She has a bachelor's of science in elementary education.
