The Mandel Jewish Community Center's Beachwood Fitness Center is centrally located in Northeast Ohio, only minutes from I-271 and Chagrin Boulevard in Beachwood, Ohio. It is convenient to the following Cleveland suburbs:  Shaker Heights, Pepper Pike, Cleveland Heights, University Heights, South Euclid, Lyndhurst and Solon.

Personal Training at the Mandel JCC - Session Options:
Individual sessions: 30 or 60 minutes in length. Packages of 12 or 24 sessions may be purchased. Flexible payment options available.

NEW- Weight Loss Boot Camp
Expect to be pushed each week, using sandbags, body bars, steppers, dumbbells and
your own body weight. Participants will be measured on
weight loss and body fat percentage.

TRX Suspension Training- Try the complete, total-body workout today!

Build lean muscle, boost your metabolism, tighten your core and increase endurance all with the use of a single strap. Class instruction is in a small group setting with no more than 8 per class.

NEW- Intro to Kettlebells
Class focuses on basic moves with an emphasis on proper form and
technique. You will learn how to incorporate these total-body exercises
into your strength and cardio routines.

Golf Conditioning
Get your swing in top-notch shape with this four-week program focusing on strength, balance, flexibility and swing skills. Led by Jeff Yannarell, personal trainer and certified golf conditioning specialist.
Who: Mandel JCC members 13 and up
When: Thursdays • 6-7 pm • April 30-June 18
Fee: $200/person • 4 participants max per session

Adult Spring Running Conditioning
The class will focus on flexibility with dynamic stretching. Participants will train with anaerobic intervals to improve running economy and fitness. Participants will also do strength training exercises related to running muscles and core strength. There will be a pre and post
class time trial. Led by Travis Rogen, Boston Marathon runner.
Who: Mandel JCC members 13 and up

Extreme Cycling & Kettlebell
Burn max calories and build lean muscle all at the same time with this high-intensity, advanced small group training class combining Spinning and Kettlebells. The class will consist of 25 minutes of cycling followed by 25 minutes of Kettlebell instruction and stretching in the Fitness
Center Mezzanine. Maximum 8 people per class. Led by Joseph Morrison, certified personal trainer who also holds certifications in Spinning and Kettlebell instruction.

Women on Weights
A class just for women that uses free weights, Kettlebells and TRX bands to help
build muscle, burn fat and tone up! Class is limited to four people, beginner to intermediate fitness levels. Participants will be measured on measurement vs. weight, body composition, weight,
pushups, leg press, row and flexibility. Led by Emily Oldiges, certified personal trainer who specializes in Functional Strength Training, Corrective Exercises, TRX Suspension Training, Kettlebell and Partner-Assisted Stretching.

NEW- Ultimate Small Group Mixed Marital Arts (MMA)
In this fight-themed workout program, participants will learn to throw punches, kicks, knees and elbows while building muscular and cardiovascular endurance.  This course uses High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) to increase stamina and strengthen the heart. Results will be based on improvement of recovery heart rate. Led by Joe Solomon, certified personal trainer and group personal training specialist. Joe has trained with multiple IDF special forces soldiers.

" I always had Joe’s full attention. He was never looking around the room or talking to someone else. He paid great attention to details and made sure our form is improving, if not correct. The class was both fun and intense.
