If you've been to the fitness facilities lately you've noticed our Fitness, Wellness & Recreation staff are all sporting crisp new shirts.

Green Shirts, our newest color, are being worn by the General Trainers on duty. All General Trainers are knowledgeable about our equipment and can give you advice and suggestions on proper use of equipment and how to maximize your workout. They'll be pleased to answer your questions, so don't hesitate to approach them.

Black Shirts — Fitness Managers (Lorri SleshDirector of Fitness, Wellness & Recreation, Rich ZattaPersonal Training, Kim GottliebGroup Exercise & Pilates, and Stacey MurrayAquatics) are always here to assist members and answer your questions.

Red Shirts — Certified Personal Trainers
Working one-on-one with clients to motivate and optimize workouts and to help members achieve their goals.

Blue Shirts — Fitness Service Associates
Responsible for running the Fitness Service Desk, welcoming and assisting members, and the ongoing upkeep of the fitness facility.

Calling all Anisfield Day Campers: Join us for Anisfield Night Out!

Hang out with your friends from this past summer, including some camp staff members as well. We will bounce in the inflatable, play games and sports in the gym, make gooey s'mores. Enjoy ice cream Sundays, create Arts and Craft projects and sing our favorite camp songs.

Playmakers Youth Theatre Presents: Little Shop of Horrors
Directed by Sheri Gross and Michael Simons

The tale of Seymour, Audrey and Audrey II is a tongue-in-cheek dark musical comedy complete with a rockin' score and life size puppets. Don't miss this TALENTED group of teens! Please remember that man-eating plant puppets can seem scary to small children.

Attention All Group Exercise Enthusiasts

Attention Steppers! It is back! A step class just like the old days. Len is a fabulous instructor with lots of energy and great music. All he needs is you. Come join the new Strictly Step class on Tuesday evenings at 6:00pm... You'll be glad you did.

Other changes include: Welcome to new instructor Tammy. Join the Zumba queen on Monday night at 5:30pm Welcome new instructor Jenny to the Tuesday 8:30 Classic Cardio class. Tuesday night Yoga moves to 7:00pm with Carol. Wednesday morning Yoga moves from 9:15am to 9:30am as you requested. The Wednesday 10:30 am Step Interval (female only class) moves to an earlier time slot at 9:30 in Studio 3.

S.T.A.R.— Strength-Targeted Aquatic Routine
AQUATIC SMALL GROUP PERSONAL TRAINING
All the benefits of a great workout without breaking a sweat!

This is our small group training designed for a workout in the pool. Are you interested in working many muscles at the same time? The water's properties are relaxing and allow for training with reduced risk for injury. Whether you have just completed a physical therapy program, want to lose weight, or want to have a healthier back the water is the perfect place to begin!

Hurry, offer ends soon: Work out in our pool with a group of 3 participants for 10 sessions for only $75. Morning and afternoon sessions are available.

The Prevention, Arrest and Reversal of Coronary Heart Disease

Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in the United States for men and women. But  Dr. Caldwell B. Esselstyn, Jr., long time member of The Mandel JCC, and former internationally-known surgeon, researcher and clinician at the Cleveland Clinic, asserts heart disease can be prevented, reversed, and even abolished. Hot kosher lunches available to seniors ....

Looking for a hot lunch and a bit of socialization? The JCC's program for adults over age 60, housed at Council Gardens Senior Apartments in Cleveland Heights, provides a hot, kosher lunch Sunday through Friday. Meals are prepared in the kitchen of Menorah Park. There is a monthly menu that will be provided to you. Lunch includes milk, bread, fruit, main course, a grain and a vegetable. Special meals are provided around the holidays. The suggested donation is .75˘. Transportation is provided.
