  • Fund Raising and Development Director
    At an exciting time of growth for the Mandel JCC, the individual in this position will be responsible for creating and implementing a multi-faceted fund raising and development program which will support the Agency’s excellent and extensive program offerings.  Responsibilities for this key position will include developing and maintaining donor relationships, the annual campaign, endowment development, special events, planned giving, grants, corporate sponsorships and major gifts.  Qualifications include at least 5 years’ fundraising and development experience, experience working with lay leadership and knowledge of fund raising and development software.
  • Human Resources Director
    The individual in this position will be responsible for managing all human resources activities for the Agency including recruitment, training, compensation and benefits, union issues, performance management and compliance with state and federal laws. The Director will be expected to develop and administer policies and procedures which support the mission and goals of the Agency and represent best practices of human resource management. This position is part of the senior management staff and reports directly to the Executive Director.  Requirements include at least 7 years’ experience in the human resources field with at least three years’ experience in a management role. Qualified applicants will have the demonstrated ability to interact effetively with all levels of the organization and excellent written communication skills. Experience in a union environment and service industry will be considered a plus.
  • Sports and Recreation Specialist
    The fulltime Sports and Recreation Specialist will work for nine months as a key employee in the Fitness, Wellness and Recreation Department and in the summer for the day camp program. The Sports and Recreation Specialist will be responsible for planning and developing programs involving the indoor gymnasium, track, racquetball courts, outdoor tennis and basketball courts and outdoor field space which will attract and retain members of all ages. This position will also oversee the Sports Camp for the JCC’s successful and growing summer day camp program and includes supervision of part time staff as well establishing and maintaining relationships with individual campers and families. Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and experience developing and implementing sports and recreation programs, working with children in sports programming and staff supervision.
