2016-2017 Playmakers Youth Theatre Season

By Neil Simon

Teacher Leon Tolchinsky arrives in a Russian town only to find out it is cursed!!  The town has been doomed to be senseless – people are sweeping dust from the stoops back into their houses, milking upside down cows, and selling flowers as fish.  Leon has 24 hours to break the curse until he too falls under its spell.  In this comedy of errors and confusion where common phrases are taken literally, will Leon ever be able to make sense of it all?  Find out in what CBS-TV called "the brightest, freshest, funniest, wittiest, warmest and happiest to do on Broadway in many a day."
