 We are thrilled to introduce the J Teen Camp, designed especially for campers entering grades 79. This leadership development program combines the excitement of day trips, the opportunity to participate in tikkun olam (repairing the world) through acts of chesed (loving-kindness), and the fun of daily camp life.
Each week campers will take one fun-filled day trip to exciting places like Splash Lagoon and Put-In-Bay (see chart at left). Three days a week will be spent out at our beautiful Halle Park campsite located in Burton where our older campers will have an opportunity to design their own camp program with activities including horseback riding, lake activities, archery, sling shot, arts and crafts, developing leadership skills, working on stewardship projects at camp and learning CPR. One day a week, campers will participate in community service projects at local organizations.
During these weeks, campers will have the opportunity to form lasting friendships and develop leadership skills while gaining a greater awareness of how to care for the environment and providing invaluable services to the community. Campers can register before or after their overnight or theatre camp session, work around band camp, cheerleading, sports camps or any other summer activity. Register for one week or all six. Each week will offer different trips and volunteer projects. We will also be happy to provide your camper with a letter attesting to their community service hours performed.

Campers may return late to the Mandel JCC on Field Trip Days. Campers will spend the night at the Mandel JCC following the trip to the Ohio State Fair during week 6
* Please note: Due to our Maccabiah Games, campers will go to Cedar Point on Monday.
