The Mandel Jewish Community Center of Cleveland builds and strengthens Cleveland's entire community by providing exceptional programs and services that enhance Jewish continuity and identity in four key program areas: Health, Wellness and Recreation; Early Childhood Education; Camping; and Cultural Arts. The Mandel JCC is undergoing a transformational $18 million renovation and expansion that will offer adults, families and children opportunities to enjoy leisure, recreation, culture, sports, and fitness all within a vibrant and welcoming setting. The entire building is being updated including the renovation of the entire fitness, aquatics, and recreation facilities, Early Childhood (preschool) wing, and many of the public informal and formal meeting spaces. This project, which will be completed in early 2012, was made possible through a generous $16 million gift from The Mandel Foundation.
Membership in The Mandel JCC is open to all ages, religions and races. The Mandel JCC is a non-profit social service agency that receives funding from the Jewish Community Federation of Cleveland and the United Way.
