Shoresh Village is designed to instill confidence and enjoyment in campers while they start to grow independently. Days are filled with fun, friends and wonderful activities on the campgrounds of Safran Park at the Mandel JCC. Shoresh campers will have two late nights along with cookouts and weekly themed programming throughout the summer. In addition, Shoresh campers will join with our Geza and Anaf campers for two days of camp-wide Maccabiah games (color wars) during week five. (*see side bar) Jewish values, tradition, ruach (spirit) and Israeli culture are woven into camp days through songs, art, stories, sports, drama, games and celebrations.
Campers entering first grade travel once a week during the first six weeks to Halle Park, our Burton campsite, to explore nature, canoe and kayak on our lake, splash around in our amazing spray ground and participate in music, drama, sports, arts & crafts and much more!
New this summer! We are excited to welcome campers entering Kindergarten into Anisfield for the entire summer. Our youngest campers will experience everything our Safran Park location on our Beachwood campus has to offer!

Geza & Anaf Villages Grades 2 6 Halle Park, Burton

Campers travel daily to our country campsite, set on a lake on over 80 acres of land, which is accredited by the American Camping Association (ACA). There they enjoy boating and other lake activities, sports, swimming, archery and more!
Our highly-trained and caring staff will challenge and excite campers as they build character, form lasting friendships, and learn about Jewish tradition and culture. Campers learn the Jewish values of achreiyut (responsibility), shituf peula (cooperation) and tikkun olam (repairing our world) in a way that goes hand-in-hand with splashing in the pool, climbing on the expanded ropes course and shouting a camp cheer.
Campers will join in camp ruach (spirit) and gain a sense of belonging while developing new skills through various camp activities. Campers will have opportunities to sleep at our camp site as well as enjoy cookouts and weekly themed activities. In addition, Geza & Anaf will join with our Shoresh campers for two days of camp-wide Maccabiah games (color wars) during week five.
