Spa services at The Mandel JCC provide a relaxing and rejuvenating experience and are the perfect compliment to your fitness routine.

Sauna and Steam
Spacious, handicap accessible, sauna and steam room are located in both the Men’s and Women’s Locker Rooms. For use by all members 18 and older. For the safety and enjoyment of all, please observe the rules posted outside the sauna and steam room.

Coed Whirlpools
Two large, handicap accessible coed whirlpools are located on the indoor pool deck. For use by all members 18 and older. Please observe the rules posted by the whirlpools.

Manicure and Pedicure Services
Coed manicure and pedicure services are offered for members ages 12 and up in a private suite conveniently located by the locker rooms.

Manicure/Pedicure Appointments
Manicure/Pedicure appointments can be made at the Fitness Service Desk. Payments in cash/check given directly to manicurist at time of service.

Massage Services Massage services resume Mid-July
Enjoy a table or chair massage and experience the well-documented benefits including relaxed tense, stiff or sore muscles, increased flexibility, improved circulation and reduced stress.

Table Massage services are located in the comfort and privacy of our Men’s and Women’s Locker  Rooms. To assure your comfort, you will be draped throughout your massage. In order to provide a relaxing atmosphere, please silence or turn off your cell phone for the duration of the massage service. Water helps to eliminate toxins from the body so please drink water after a massage. Please note after taking a massage, you must shower with soap and water before entering the whirlpools, steam or sauna.

Basic Massages (25 minutes 55 minutes, or 85 minutes) Full body massages are provided by experienced masseuses or masseurs
under the supervision of a Licensed Massage Therapist.

Premium Massages are provided by a Licensed Massage Therapists. We offer three different premium
massages services:

  • Swedish/Wellness Massage
    Full Body (55 minutes) The most common form of massage, used to promote general relaxation, improve circulation and ease everyday aches and pains.
  • Sports Massage
    Full Body (55 minutes) Deep tissue massage focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. It is designed to reach the deep sections of thick muscles, specifically the individual muscle fibers
  • Upper and Lower Body Massage
    Upper or Lower Body (25 minutes) Massages are provided by Licensed Massage Therapists and offer the following options:
    • Upper Body (head, neck and shoulders, hands, wrists arms and/or back)
    • Lower Body (feet, ankles calves, thighs and/or back)

Chair Massages
(5-15 minutes) Don’t have time for a table massage? Chair massages are great after a hard workout or group exercise class to get a boost of muscle tension release. Chair massage clients are fully clothed.

Table & chair massages are for members & valid guests 18 years and older.

Massage Appointments
Payment is required when the appointment is scheduled. Walk-in appointments may be available. Massage  services are available to Mandel JCC members and valid guests ages 18 years and older.

Massage Check-in
Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time and check in at the Fitness Service Desk. You may change in the massage room or in our spacious locker rooms. If you change in our locker rooms please secure your belongings in a locker. Our lockers all feature built in locks so there’s no need to bring one. When you check in you’ll receive two bath-size towels.

In order to provide a smooth transition between appointments please make sure to arrive to your treatment room promptly at your scheduled appointment time
(appointments are scheduled on the hour or half-hour). We provide a five minute transition time at the end of each appointment to allow
for dressing. You may choose to get dressed in the massage room or in our locker rooms.

Late Arrivals and Cancellations for Massages
We regret that late arrivals will not receive an extension of scheduled services times and will be responsible for full services fees.
We ask that you cancel a minimum of 24 hours in advanced by calling the Fitness Service Desk at (216) 831-0700 ext. 1340. Failure to
call within 24 hours will result in automatic payment and forfeiture of that massage session.

Gift Cards
Gift cards are available for massages. Ask about our spa gift card packages – great for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, birthdays, graduations or any special occasion!

All information is subject to change. There is a $20 fee for insufficient funds using a check or credit card. All payments must be made  in full at time of purchase. Must have valid Mandel JCC membership to receive services. Refunds are not available for lapsed members. Clients of all massage services must sign a liability waiver.
