The Mandel JCC is recruiting boys and girls ages 13-16 for the 2013 Maccabi Games in Austin!

Boys Basketball team tryouts:
Sunday, January 27 • 2 – 3 pm and Tuesday, January 29 • 6:30 – 7:30 pm
Tryout fee: Mandel JCC members: $25 • Community: $50
Complete Preliminary Interest Form before the tryouts and return to Lorri Slesh

Girls Soccer team tryouts:
Sunday, January 27 • 3 – 4 pm • Force Sports Northfield
Tryout fee: Mandel JCC members: $25 • Community: $50

Swimming individual registration:
Complete Preliminary Interest Form by January 29 and return to Lorri Slesh. Participants will be chosen by a lottery drawing.

The JCC Maccabi Games have been offering a lifeshaping experience to Jewish teenagers since 1982. At this Jewish Olympic-style event, each athlete has the chance to participate in one of 14 sports and events spanning the week-long experience. In addition to creating memories that will last a lifetime, the Games also promote community involvement, teamwork, and pride in being Jewish.
