Aleph Bet & Me Come join us for songs, rhymes, movement, and stories in Hebrew with your little ones. Aleph Bet and Me is suitable for all levels of Hebrew speakers. Open to Birth–Pre-K, older siblings welcome! This program will take place in Hebrew, and is free and open to the community.

Family Place Hosts Tinkergarden Tinkergarten Leader, Renee Burr, will facilitate an expert-designed play scenario, allowing children of various ages and needs to explore, problem solve, communicate, collaborate, and create together. Parents and caregivers learn, too, as we’ll share insight into your child’s development.

Little Man Dance Jam In this high energy dance class, boys will explore rhythm, musicality, and choreography! Through moving creatively with props, dancers will gain coordination, confidence, and team building skills. A class for movers with big imaginations! Comfy clothes and sneakers suggested. Parent must remain on site.
Who: For boys ages 3 - 5 Must be a Mandel JCC or Family Place member to participate When: Thursdays, March 8 - April 26 • 4 - 4:45pm Where: Ante Room by Stonehill Fee: $160 (8 weeks)

Tuesday Breakfast Bunch 9:15 AM – 10:15 AM • Birth - Pre K Join Beth Levy, Family Place Coordinator, for breakfast! Cereal and milk will be provided, families are also welcome to bring in their own food to enjoy (nut-free, please).
Dancing Together Tuesday 10:15 – 11 am • 18 months - 3 years Join us for a creative movement class with dance instructor Maria Hanley. Explore music, props, dance vocabulary and teamwork
Moms & Babes 11 am – 12 pm • Birth - 12 months Join us every Tuesday morning for eight weeks and enjoy time with your baby in a safe, relaxing environment. Make new friends and take part in discussions of interest to other new moms. Click here for details.
Wednesday Inflatables & Drop-In Gym 10 am - 12 pm • Birth – Pre-K Join Family Place friends in the gymnasium for a fun morning of inflatables and active play.
Thursday Creation Station 9:30-11:30 am • Birth – Pre-K Drop-in and join Beth Levy, Family Place Coordinator for a hands on morning of creative learning and sensory exploration.
Fridays Early Childhood Playground - Open Play 10:00 - 10:30 am • Weather Permitting Come play on the Early Childhood playground!
Tot Shabbat 10:30 - 11:00 am • Birth - Pre K • Free and open to the community! In the Stonehill Ante Room Welcome Shabbat with festive songs, enriching experiences, traditional blessings and delicious challah. This half hour brings warmth, fun and promotes a sense of community for children and adults.
Sundays Drop-In Swim On-going • 10 am - 12 pm • Birth- Pre K • Indoor Pool Come splash in the pool with your little one! Children must be accompanied by an adult in the water.

Beth Levy is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW). She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Wheaton College in Norton Massachusetts and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Chicago. Working with young children and families is both Beth’s passion and her background. Beth worked with children and teens and their families at Beech Brook Treatment Center and in her own private practice. The last two years she worked as a PJ Library ambassador doing outreach for families with infants and toddlers.
Beth Levy is no stranger to Family Place. She has led The J’s new mom and baby group for the past two years. She brings her experience using art therapy techniques, play therapy and use of creative play to Family Place. Beth has two daughters, ages 2 ½ and 4 ½ years old, who have been Family Place “regulars” since birth. Beth is passionate about The J and Family Place and looks forward to meeting and interacting with our young families and their children and answering questions and providing support.
