Her journey takes her into new worlds outside her religion, her city and the Holy Land. but when tragedy strikes her family, Esther is forced to come to terms with balancing her beliefs and her
passions.

Carner is an Israeli-born author who is known for her heartwrenching novels Puppet Child and China Doll. She is the former publisher of Savvy Woman magazine and a lecturer at international women’s economic forums.
