Full-Day Beachwood Child Care for 3-year olds

 

The J's Preschool Plus program provides year-round full-day day care for three-year olds.

AGES: Child must turn 3 by Sept. 30

The J's Beachwood Preschool Plus program is not just designed to meet your child’s needs – it’s designed to meet the needs of working parents too! It offers children an extended day filled with rich, meaningful learning.

  • Full-time children remain at school for an afternoon filled with new and enriched learning opportunities, including art, science, literacy and outdoor play!

All children in Preschool Plus have a designated rest time. The school provides a cot for each child to use. Children bring their own bedding to school, which is sent home each Friday to get laundered

Preschool Plus creates new social possibilities for children and provides them with ongoing opportunities to interact with both new and familiar peers.

  • Three-year olds from different classes come together as a group of afternoon learners.

Young children are naturally curious and it’s hard for them to remain in the same physical space for an extended period of time. They need safe and child-friendly places to engage their active bodies and minds.

  • Our unique facility affords many opportunities for children to explore in their classroom and beyond.
  • Three-year olds leave their morning preschool classroom and regroup in a different afternoon space.
  • In the afternoon, three-year olds have access to a large muscle room that promotes their physical development and encourages active play.
  • We know the benefit of outdoor play and actively integrate it into our afternoon program for three-year olds.

  • A highly talented team of Preschool Plus teachers facilitate the afternoon program.
  • Teachers are hired specifically for this afternoon position so they are fresh, energized and ready to meet the social, emotional and learning needs of children who are attending a full-day program.

Great Flexibility
Preschool plus is not only designed to meet your preschool child’s needs, it’s designed to meet your working needs too!

  • You can choose to use the program once a week or for the entire school week. Parents should maintain a consistent schedule throughout the school year.

Preschool Plus operates during holidays when the traditional academic program is closed. Some of these include:

  • Martin Luther King Day
  • President’s Day
  • Winter Vacation (Except Christmas Day and New Year’s)
  • Spring Vacation (Except when the program is closed in observance of Passover)

The Preschool Plus closes during the last week in August as well as for certain Jewish and secular holidays
Preschool Plus operates during the transitional weeks between summer camp and the start of the academic year.
