Family Place is a drop-in family activity room with lots of toys and games off the main lobby.
- The Debra Ann November KidSpace Gross Motor Skills Activity Room offers a toddler-sized climbing wall and interactive, indoor climbing equipment that encourages imagination and cooperative play.

Aleph Bet & Me
Come join us for songs, rhymes, movement, and stories in Hebrew with your little ones. Following the interactive 30-minute program, you are welcome to stay and play for free at Open Gym with Family Place from 10 AM-12 PM. This program will take place in Hebrew, and is free and open to the community.

Meet Beth Levy, Family Place Coordinator

Beth Levy is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW). She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Wheaton College in Norton Massachusetts and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Chicago. Working with young children and families is both Beth’s passion and her background. Beth worked with children and teens and their families at Beech Brook Treatment Center and in her own private practice. The last two years she worked as a PJ Library ambassador doing outreach for families with infants and toddlers.
Beth Levy is no stranger to Family Place. She has led The J’s new mom and baby group for the past two years. She brings her experience using art therapy techniques, play therapy and use of creative play to Family Place. Beth has two daughters, ages 2 ½ and 4 ½ years old, who have been Family Place “regulars” since birth. Beth is passionate about The J and Family Place and looks forward to meeting and interacting with our young families and their children and answering questions and providing support.

Maria is an early childhood dance and movement educator specializing in ages 0-6. New to Cleveland, Maria relocated with her family from New York City where she was the creator of the early childhood dance program at the Jewish Community Center in Manhattan. Maria also has experience working in several preschool settings and leads dance class for Family Place during the school year. Maria holds a masters in dance education from NYU and is the mom of two young boys. She looks forward to a fun summer program with you and your child!
