Creative Arts Contest for Middle and High School Students

Cleveland’s annual Yom Hashoa V’Hagvura, Holocaust & Heroism Commemoration, will take place on Wednesday, April 18, at 7 p.m., at Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple. This annual event is an opportunity to remember the six million Jews who perished during the Holocaust (1939-1945) as well as honor survivors, liberators and rescuers.

WHO: Northeast Ohio students in grades 6-12
WHAT: Creative Arts contest for creative writing and visual arts.
PRIZE: Cash prizes totaling $2,500 and recognition in the CJN for winners
THEME: “Stories Are Our Legacy.”
DEADLINE: February 15, 2012.
